They also have money saving own brand labels (Matrix), so you can get more of the things your business needs.

OVERALL JOB PURPOSE:
To support the Business Development Manager to run the branch efficiently and effectively in order to meet sales targets, achieve the best in customer care service and to create a happy and secure workplace.

JOB DIMENSIONS:
As Duty Manager you are responsible to the Business Development Manager, and for carrying out the role of duty manager.

Business development
To achieve set sales targets.
To generate new business by creating sales opportunities in order to achieve and improve upon sales targets, this includes exclusive line products.
To know your market, existing and potential customers, and the activities of your competitors.
When required to actively go out calling on existing and new customers, and report on these activities.
To put forward ideas and opinions which will improve the business and overall sales.
To promote the Privilege Points scheme.


Staff
Overall to lead by example.
To manage the staff on a day-to-day basis ensuring they are motivated and efficient.
To carry out staff training and induction.
To ensure that all staff answers the telephone within Company guidelines.
To encourage all staff to input ideas and suggestions to enhance the working environment, improve sales and improve their own skills.
To communicate relevant issues with the branch manager.
To support branch management in any issues involving staff.

Customers
To ensure customers receive the highest level of service and care at all times.
To ensure all staff understand and practice the Customer Care policy.
To ensure fresh coffee is available for customers.

Exclusive line and Avec products
To promote and switch sell whenever possible

Duty manager
The duty manager will carry out the following tasks:
Security of premises
Till procedures and maintenance
Banking procedures
Goods-in procedures
Stock transfer procedures
HQ branch procedures
Staff issues
Meeting with sales representatives
To ensure all staff are aware of any new promotions, products, special events and training activities within the branch.
To ensure all staff understand customer and staff incentive schemes.
To offer opinions, suggestions in all aspects of managing the cash and carry and its staff.
To ensure all merchandising/displays/stock/shelves are clean and tidy in accordance with company standards and stock rotation is always carried out.
To ensure all stock coding and pricing are correct.
To attend stock takes as required.
To provide cover for other branches as necessary.
To understand fully and act on the information held in the personnel handbook, Health & Safety guidelines, terms and conditions of employment.
To ensure branch is properly manned at all times.
To carry out tasks required by the overall management.

They are looking for 3  field sales Representatives to cover the above locations. You will selling into salons and wholesalers.

JOB ROLE

To execute the commercial plans of nominated brands and related sundry items. The purpose being, to achieve, defined revenue, salon distribution, volume sales, brand distribution, and efficiency, profitably.

  • Our Client is one of the UK's largest suppliers to Hairdressers, Beauty Therapists and Nail Technicians.

Principle accountabilities
In conjunction with your line manager, develop, agree and implement an area business plan to achieve defined sales, brand distribution, and new business goals. Principle objectives as listed below :-

1.Range sell at all times to achieve maximum product distribution

2.To achieve and exceed all sales targets and objectives as set

3.To communicate and liase via both fixed reporting procedures

4.To plan, implement and action an effective and efficient Journey Plan, that is subsequently regularly reviewed and updated

5.To liase regularly with the sales departments, with the specific view of developing sales support strategy for all salons under your responsibility where and when appropriate

6.To actively communicate and sell all technical and training events set up by the Company.

7.To continually update brand knowledge, existing and potential customer base, competitors, and primary trade organisations.

8.Process all orders, and administration, plus update all required business information on a regular basis as required

9.Be fully responsible for implementing the Company credit control policies including collection, banking and/or forwarding on cash/monies within the Companies trading terms.

10.To maintain to a high standard, all Company equipment

11.Attend and participate in all trade fairs.
